Very behind on Christmas shopping and wrapping and baking and have to get ready for Valentine classes if you can believe that.

Christmas cards

Yes, I have even snuck in a few cards here and there. This one was really simple and quick.

punch art critters

We have here the Polar Bear, Mouse, Black Bear, and the penquin. The four new additions to punch art. By punch art I mean that I made these using paper punches, circles, ovals, heart, nestabilities and a flower. Hope you think they are as cute as I do.

punch art critters

This is my new cute little mouse to add to the punch art critters. I think he is one of my favorites. Let me know what you think.

peppermint patties

This is another version of peppermint patties in a pretzle bag. This is one more of my punch critters. I am now getting quite a little zoo going.

Christmas punch happy

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, it took so long to post some new stuff. Partly it is because I have been very busy with classes and partly because I didn't want to post things that I am giving as gifts because those people may be looking at my blog. So a lot of what I have been working on you won't see yet, Sorry. This was a big hit at a couple of my classes. The boxes you can find on line at a complany called Clear bags. Inside it I put hot cocoa, marshmallows, and chocolate covered peppermint sticks. Makes great gifts for secret santa, office workers, teachers, mailman, etc... Thanks for looking.

Christmas punch happy

I have been a little punch and cuttlebug crazy right now, but I must say I do like the results. It is amazing to look at all your punches in a different way. You start to see things take shape. Santa is my favorite. There was a snowman and a smore's snowman that I will have to make more of and post them later. Hope you like and thanks for stopping by.

This are the cute little triangle boxes that I did for a class.

Tags & Bags

Here is another picture of the snowman bag but next to him is an ornament tag with these really funny reindeer. You just have to laugh when you look at them. Have you smiled today?

Top note holidays

Hi everyone, Aren't they the cutest guys you have ever seen. It took me a while of playing with santa but I think I captured his holiday spirit and Frosty's. All done with punches. I used the Top Note die from stampin up for the main head and hats. Then the others were circle punches or line punches. A little bit of playing and there you have it. Love them. The snowman I made into a bag. Santa is a big gift tag. Let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Gifts

This is what the candle holder looks like apart. It has three parts.

Christmas Gifts

I am so excited at how these came out. The tall one I put a room spray from bath and body works. I just created a cute box to put it in. The second one I created a box to hold 4oz candle jars in but then I notices that the sugar scrubs also fit in them really well. I have become the box junky now. I love making boxes and bags to hold the christmas goodies in. Please let me know what you think.

Swaps

These are the swap cards that I made. They are cute little treat holders. I have a tea bag in them but you could put a gift card, special note, candy, gum, hot cocoa, the possibilities are endless. They fit in a standard A2 envelope. They are made with stampin up supplies.
PAPER: #115696 Christmas Jingle
Punch: #105090 Word Window
If you would like to make these you can email me for the exact measurements. If you would like to order any of the supplies used please visit my website: tracymsimon.stampinup.net
So as you can see I have been busy. Now I have to get started on a few more projects that I have lined up. Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Treats

Just so that no one thinks I haven't been busy. I have finished a few projects that I needed to get done. These 26 guys were for my nephew Branden halloween school party. I made him gift bags that he can put his own candy in.

The pumpkins and ghosts I did for my other nephew Ben for his class party. They are not hard to do just a little time consuming especially when your doing almost 30 of them. Between the two kids I did almost 60 party favors

Baby Buggy

Well I still don't have my package yet, Stampin up is sending a reorder in but UPS is trying to blame me because it just couldn't be their falt. (what a crock) But I did have a baby shower to go to so I whipped up this buggy card all with punched shapes. I think it turned out pretty darn cute. What do you guys think? Pray for a package to come soon.

Lost Package

Sorry everyone, apparently my UPS driver had a brain fart. They claim to have delivered my package wedn. and left it on my porch. Needless to say there is no package on my porch and I am getting the runaround as to what happend to my package. Without it I don't have my new stamps yet. When I get them, then I can create some cards. In the mean time I will continue to argue with UPS because they don't believe that their driver could have possibly delivered it to the WRONG house. Duh. Talk to ya soon

The Tweet life

This is such a cute stamp. I stamped it twice to get a second bird to add to the little kitty. Just to cute. I just received my stampin up packet of stuff so soon I will be posting some great new ideas with the new stamps I got. Keep stopping by and visit my stampin up website at tracymsimon.stampinup.net

Tea surprise card

This card I made for my Chemo Angel. It has a hidden surprise. The Moose is on a tag, you pull up on him and it slides out of a pocket. On the back of the moose I stapled a tea bag, and on the front of the tag is my little message. I thought she might like this.

Caught a bug

This cute little slide box has kleenex in it for that special someone who is feeling a little under the weather. You could add cough drops or tea and soup packets. The options are unlimited.

More slides

Here is the pumpkin one. These are so easy to make once you get rolling on them the hard part is deciding how to decorate the front of the box.
I have knews for those of you who follow my blog. I just signed on with Stampin up. It's a rubberstamp and scrapbook company. Now I will be able to do some card workshops out of my house or at other peoples houses. I don't have my starter business kit yet but soon. I will keep you informed. Email me if you have any questions.

slide boxes

I finally took pictures of my projects before I gave them away. I have been going crazy with these cute slide boxes. They are like matchbook boxes but this one is bigger. So I can stick more things in it. It measures about 3 x 5 and 2 inches deep. Next I will show you the pumpkin box. Thanks for looking.

Happy Halloween

My big problem isn't doing the cards and the projects, it's remembering to take pictures of them before giving them away or taking them to the store. I have got to remember to take pictures of my projects before they leave my house. Here is one of my favorite halloween stamps by whipper snapper. And I have a few more projects that I am working on with a halloween theme to them. I promise to take photos before I take them to the store. I promise to get better with up dating my blog. Thanks for checking back and taking a peek. Happy Stamping!!

Gift bag

Hello everyone, Sorry I have neglected my blog. Life has been a little busy and is about to get busier in my house. My son starts driving in August. We just got back from a family wedding in California and the weather was fantastic and it inspired me to make this little tote bag.

I made it from one sheet of paper. (black and white polk a dot) you can't see the lady but that well but it is made from 3 scalloped circles that I folded in half and glued together to give her wings. really simple and Now I already have ideas for halloween goodie bags, christmas gift bags, the possibilities are endless. Classes will be starting up again at the store in August and I have to start thinking about Christmas card ideas. (I can't believe I said Christmas already) I will be talking to you all soon. Thanks for stopping by. HUGS

Well everyone I am sorry that I didn't get anything posted this past week but I have been getting ready to leave on Vacation Friday. So I won't have any posts next week either since I won't be with all my supplies. I am counting on coming back completely refreshed with new ideas. Just pray the weather is nice to me. See you when I get back.

onsie gift card holder

Sorry that my picture was sideways I forgot to rotate it. I got this idea when I seen a similar card at the store but they wanted 4.00 for it and I decided I could make it at home cheaper and mine would be in the colors that I needed. Well I must say it took me a little while but the finished product is pretty great if I do say so myself. I used magnets to hold the straps closed instead of velcro. Let me know what you think. It fits in an A5 envelope which is one size bigger than A2 the standard. Hope you like it.

Punched Daisies

I have been having a lot of fun with these little pieced daisies. I used a straight circle punch, a scallop circle punch and an oval scallop punch. Then add a ladybug sticker and just look how cute they are. I have made a ton of these. Very simple. Hope you have fun with them. Happy Memorial Day Everyone.

Graduation

I tried to take a couple of different angle shots of this so that you can see how this card explodes open.

Pieced Ice cream cone

I am going a little paper piecing crazy lately. I now created this cute Ice cream cone with a simple rectangle, straight scallop punch and a circle punch in two sizes. TADAH!

Oriental flair

This stamp set was from Hero Arts. She was just too cute. Instead of coloring her dress in I just stamped it on decorative paper. Made the card really quick and simple. I also rubberstamped the white paper with the green flower that came in the set.

Potted flowers cont...

I started to go a little crazy with these potted cards. They are all made with regular punches. The Tulips on the left I made with an oval punch, oval scallop punch, and a circle punch. The ones on the right I had a flower punch that I punched twice and layer them. I used the scallop oval to do the leaves. I think the daisies are still my favorite. That was the first card I showed you. Hope you enjoy them. Thanks for stopping by.

Potted flowers

I have been working on these cards for a mother's day card class because I thought how perfect instead of giving flowers that will die not long after you give them, how about some flowers that will last forever and if she is a scrapbooker she can scrapbook the card later. You pull the flowers out of the pot and they are attached to a tag that has good wishes on it.

Audry

Sorry that I haven't posted for a long time. Life gets in the way sometimes. I had to post a quick picture of my sister Wendy's latest edition to her family. This is little Audry. She is 5 weeks old in this picture and is growing by leaps and bounds.

The cards are coming. The past few batches that I have done I forgot to take photos of and they were sold during my classes and the others sold at the store. I have to get into the habit of taking pictures of everything. I will get better. Thanks for stopping by.

Double fold card

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry that it has been so long since a post to the blog. Time had gotten a little away from me and before you know it weeks had past. But I think you will like this new double fold card. It's two cards in one. A small card on top and the regular size card on bottom. and the little scallop circle holds the card closed by tucking in the small card under it. Hard to explain but you can see what I mean from the photos. If you need better instructions just drop me an email and I will explain a little better. Thanks for stopping by I have a few more that I have to photograph. see you sooner

Quick cards

It takes me more time to take pictures and upload them to my blog than to make them.

Easy, Easy, 5 min cards

These cards literally took me 5 minutes to make. Try to keep them in monocramatic color scheme and they can't be any easier. I did them in light blue, Light green, red and brown. But I do like the darker ones better than the lighter ones. I used scraps of ribbon and some scraps of paper. EASY

Ready for spring

I am so ready for this crappy weather to be done and for spring to get here. I hate that there is no color outside, and these brutal temps. I want warmth. This was a card from the last class that has a little spring in it I think. Hope you enjoy a little spring on your computer with this card picture.

What a view

For those of you who need some male cards, I think this type of card could do just the trick. I made this card with a few different stamps from Stampscapes rubberstamps. There are 5 different stamps used in this card. You are just building a scene. I stamp my entire scene with black stazon on glossy white cardstock. Then I apply the color with makeup sponges and your color ink pads. (whatever brand name you use as long as it's not an opaque ink.) Really easy.
