Lunch sack

I made another lunch sack variation with the grinch. I made a cute little poem and put green candycanes in the sack. (have to be green candycanes because of my poem) Love him.

Reindeer brew

This is a new take on the lunch sack. I put hot cocoa, candy canes, mini marshmellows, or hershey kisses in them. They are great gifts for your bank teller, postman, ups delivery people, neighbors, you name it. I need a lot of last minute gifts. I had to come up with something last minute for the coaches for my son. Perfect.
What do you think.
Thanks for stopping by. Love hearing from you.

cute little purses

I have made a bunch of these purses also but these believe it or not, took a lot less time. It is just an origami fold of a 6 x 6 piece of paper. Then I just embellish it. They are great for gift cards, chapstick, candies, you name it. If I can get organized I will post directions.

Favors

I have been really busy and it seems the holidays have snuck up on me before I have everything that I wanted to do done. I have made about 30 or more of these. They are just hershey nuggets wrapped in designer paper. and placed in a pretzle bag.
There are more pictures coming. Some things I made I forgot to take pictures of though. I'm in crunch time you know. lol

Tons of gift card holders

I have been making tons of gift card holders because it seems this year that is all anyone wants. The kids are getting to old for actual gifts. How sad is that. Thanks for looking.

Nutcrackers

I have been busy making all sorts or christmas goodies. These I am especially proud of how they came out. Cute little guys aren't they. I have the #2 die cut box behind him so that you can add some little goodies. (Like nuts) lol
Hope you think he is as cute as I do. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

more punch art

The cat inside the pumpkin is my absolute favorite. I am now trying to see what else I can have popping out of the pumpkin.

Witches hat

Hi everyone, This is the same little triangle box which I turned into a reindeer, an angel, santa claus, and now a witches hat. I have even thought about a candy corn but haven't made one yet.
I have also been working on more top note projects that I will be posting soon. Thanks for checking back.

spooky card

The new owl punch from stampin up has many uses. Can you pick him out of this card. He is the ghost and the bat. You can order the owl punch #118074 $16.95 from my website.
tracymsimon.stampinup.net
The word spooky came from the Wicked cool set #120600 cling set. And the pumpkin was made with the oval punch #119863
The rod iron fence was an old martha stewart punch I think.

Cutest birds ever

Aren't these the cutes birds you ever did see. I love them. We have an owl, penguin, blue bird, pink bird, I even did a crow but he isn't pictured. I think these would make great cards. That is next.

New lil frankie

So how do you like the new lil frankie? I loved making him last year and he is back and even smaller. I am finding new uses for him. I love how simple he is to put together. You could put him on a bookmark as well. It is the time of year to start thinking about halloween treats for the school kids. Mine son doesn't need them anymore but my nephews still do. I love this time of year. There will be more to come keep looking. Have a great day. Hugs

spooky card

I got inspired to do some Halloween cards and get a head of the season. I love the batty for you set from stampin up. It is quick and simple to get great results. I also used the new cob web embossing folder from stampin up.
Have a great day, stop by again real soon.

Post it note purse

This is a great little halloween for those kids that have to many allergies. (I don't know anyone who is allegic to post it notes) lol
The stamps I used are stampin ups batty for you set, #116576 $23.95. Just head over to my stampin up website to place an order. Anyone who does will get a special gift from myself.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Back to school

Well school for us started 3 weeks ago but most everyone else started last week. Here is a great teacher inspired project. What do you guys think?

The standing pencil is made from a roll of rolo candies with a hershey kiss on top for the pencil tip.

Note pad cover

This is a great gift for that special teacher or office worker. Inside is a note pad, 3 envelope pockets for you to put a gift card or little treat. And of course you get a pencil pocket on the side. Love these. The size depends on the size of the note pads that you buy. Fun project. Hope you like it.

Halloween Treats

These are little treats that you make with a piece of gum and Stampin ups "two tag" sizzix die. If you need to make a lot of give aways this is great. But I like the packs of gum with the silver wrappers and I am having trouble finding them. Hope you like them. Have a great day.

More owls

Here is another owl card. I am telling you these guys are addictive. Once you start making them you can't stop. But I have more toys to play with. Now that it is back to school time that means Halloween is not far behind.

I am back

Well believe it or not but our summer vacation is just about over. My son goes to school on the 17th (tuesday) I will be able to have a little more time to myself. (I think)
Just got a lot of new stampin up stuff like this new owl punch. It punches all the pieces to make the owl. and If you have the bird punch already you can incorporate the wings from the bird and the branch. They are so stinkin cute. And it seems that owls are all the rage right now.
I am going to start listing classes on my blog that I will be doing at my house starting in september. So keep watching and if there is a class that you would like to take but the date is no good for you just drop me a line and we will work out a day that works for you.
Sorry I took a summer break but I am back. Thanks for stopping by.

Thursday, June 24, 2010

Here is a simple card that I had to make a few of for upcoming events. I seem to have run out of cards on hand for birthdays and such. I need a day where I am not creating new things and just do a bunch of cards to get caught up. Thanks for looking. Have a great day.

Hello everyone, So so so sorry that it has been so long between posts. It is not that I haven't been doing much because I have been doing a lot. Some of the projects I do for others I forget to take pictures of and post. DUH I just got done doing a bunch of party favors for my neighbors grad party this sunday.

Here is a card I whipped up after seeing something in a magazine. I thought how hard can that be. So what do ya think?

I will be posting a class that I will be doing but before I post I am showing it to my students this saturday first then I will post it.

It is a stationary organizer. Hope that peeks your interest.

Carnations anyone

I am having so much fun making these cute flowers. Believe it or not but they are made with cardstock. That's right! They look and feel like fabric but I made them with cardstock.
Let me know what you think of this cute flower. It was made with the stampin up scallop punch and the five petal flower punch. (also a stampin up punch)
These make great cards to deliver personally for teachers or coworkers. (They get a little smashed in the mail unless you pack them well) Love them!

Pinwheels

Everyone I am so sorry that it has taken me so long since my last post. I have been a little busy to say the least.
Here is a sample of the pinwheel that looks more complicated than it is. This is a great project for those scraps of paper that you have that you just can't throw away. (that is if your like me)
I will be doing this as a class. Hope everyone likes it. Thanks for being patient with me and continuing to look at my blog even when I haven't updated it. Don't give up on me. Have a great day.

chick basket

My little sleepy eyed chick makes for the perfect touch on this little basket. I love making little things like this for coworkers, neighbors, friends, and family. They are quick and easy and not very big so they don't break the bank to fill them. Hope you like him. Thanks again for stopping by. Have a great day.

Happy St Patty's

Happy St Patty's Day a little early. I have named him O'Malley. He is just perfect for a St Patty card or gift box/bag. (Like what I did with the sheep)
I think he turned out better than the first one I came up with that I posted earlier. He has definately more character.
Thanks for stopping by.

Just for "EWE"

This basket is just for "Ewe"
I thought she makes a great little basket for easter. The cuttlebug swirl embossing folder is perfect for the sheeps body.
I have been having a lot of fun with this one. Hope you guys like it. We will be doing this one in class this sat. Thanks for stopping by.

punch art critters

This is another punch art critter to add to the bunch. Cute little bunny isn't she. I have been doing all sorts of projects with this bunny. You can make her brown for a chocolate bunny. With easter right around the corner she is perfect.

Bookmarks

How do you like these cute little bookmarks? It is a great idea for a gift for someone who loves to read. You can attach the bookmark to the front of the card. It becomes the card and part of the gift. Include a gift card to a book store or a book you know they want.
I told you I have been busy, just couldn't post anything until today.

Note cards

These note cards are great when you need to restock you card inventory for birthdays and thank you notes. They are the same size as a standard card they just don't open like a card. They are the card, you write your note on the front of the card and mail it in an A2 envelope.
Cute and Quick. Gotta love that.
Thanks for stopping by.

Trifold book

Pictures really don't do this book justice. And I didn't put any photos in it yet to really show you how great it looks, but I just couldn't wait because I loved how this came out.
On the left is a picture of the book closed and the right is a picture when it is partly unfolded.
I have to apologize for not posting sooner but my internet was down for about a week and cable wasn't working right. That is what happens when you bundle. lol

Mini scrapbook

This is a mini scrapbook. I made one for a thank you for a wedding that I went to and loved how it turned out and realized that they really can be used for any occassion. Love this simple book. You can put a lot of pictures in it. I had over 15 pictures in the one I did.

Alex's 16th

My son Alex turned 16 this month and I made him a candybar cake which he absolutely loves. I thought that I would show it off.

Easel Cards

I am having a blast doing these easle cards. They are really quick to put together. I love that they can then be displayed for whom ever receives them. The finished card measures 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 so it fits in a standard A2 envelope. Hope you like them. Thanks for stopping by.

Easter bunny card

I am so sick of snow so I thought if I started making some spring cards it might make our crappy weather a little bit easier to tolerate.
NO! Over night we got another foot of snow. It's not working so far. lol

Easter Basket

More top note madness. This is my boy and girl easter chicks. The girl I turned into a cute little basket/bag. Perfect for putting small easter goodies into for that special coworkers desk or just to show someone your thinking of them. Who wouldn't think she is just to cute. Let me know if you need to know how to turn her into a bag. Just drop me an email.

I didn't realize that I never posted my little turtle, so for those of you who wanted to see the turtle, here she is.

punch art critters

The picture really doesn't do her justice. She is to cute. I seen a picture of her and just had to do her. She is a little different from the picture because I used whatever punches I had so my sizes are different. But I think she turned out pretty good considering. She doesn't have a name yet but I was calling her TONS OF FUN.

Valentines

Now this is what I call Puppy Love. I made the bone card myself, no template. But I am sure I can make a template if someone needs one. The dog is an old whipper snapper.

Valentines

This is a group of cards that I am doing for a class at the paper palace. The note cards will be in a gift bag that will also be decorated. The small box is a nugget slider box. Has 4 hershey nuggets inside the box. You will be making 4 note cards, The gift bag the cards are in and the candy box.

top note characters

This is O'Malley, He is the newest topnote character. All made with stampin up punches and dies. I had a request from another friend to create a picture tutorial on my different punch art characters so that is what I am working on now. Along with the many other projects that have been piling up. Thanks for stopping by. If you have any ideas for some new punch art character email me with your idea and I will see what I can come up with. Have a great Day!!!

punch art critters

What do you think about Ribbit and Red. (my frog ribbit and cardinal red) I told you I was going punch art crazy. Wait I have more.

punch art critters

So what do you think of Edwardo. I think he came out pretty cute. I mimicked him after the chef stamp from whipper snapper and his name is Edwardo. I think they look like brothers. lol Hope you guys like him.

punch art critters

Now I have the bears in two sizes thanks to Kathy requesting them in a little bit bigger size for a layout she was doing. And I added a Panda bear.

Love bandit set

I am loving this set can you tell. I even made a slider box with hershey nuggets in them. Very easy and very cute little valentines. I told you I have been busy. I am having trouble juggle my different classes from stampin up and from the store. But I am keeping busy.
